The goddess of Fortune sits on a fishing net on the bow of a classical ship with a Triton figurehead blowing a trumpet. In her right hand she holds the Caduceus or staff of Mercury or Hermes, a symbol of peace and prosperity.
At her feet are the packaged goods that bring the profits of the shipping business and a Cornucopia or horn of plenty streaming over with the monetary proceeds. An anchor and coil of rope complete the decoration.
