“Dictionnaire des peintres, sculpteurs, dessinateurs et graveurs” by E. Benezit. Gründ. Pierre Gourdault was a pupil of Marcel Andre Baschet and François Schommer. He was awarded a travel bursary in 1904. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon de la Sociéte des Artistes Français where he was accepted as a member in 1905. He received an honorable mention at the 1900 Exposition Universelle and serval other medals. He died on active service in World War I.
