Art Deco Bison Bookends – Max Le Verrier, France c. 1930

These dynamic Art Deco bison bookends were created by Max Le Verrier, a master of French decorative sculpture. Made around 1930, the bookends depict stylized bisons, cast in green-patinated metal and mounted on Portor marble bases.

Each piece is signed "M. Le Verrier" and is in very good condition. A striking and collectible example of  the Art Deco period.
