VAN DAMME, Suzanne (Ghent, 1901 - Ixelles, 1986)
Originally Post-Impressionist painter, later close to Surrealism. Also abstract (matierist) art. Wife of the Italian painter Bruno Capacci. Student at the Aka in Ghent and Brussels. Often stayed abroad : Paris, London, Florence. Under the influence of James Ensor in her youth. Work in several museums.
